The white capped mountain in the background is Pike Peak with an elevation of 14,100 feet. Pikes Peak has a road that allows you to drive up to the top of it, not for the faint of heart. There is a trail that goes up to the top as well as a Cog Rail way. Each year there is a foot race that ascends to the top.
